Customer Review: Not too big, not too small ... just right!

I also have a big, heavy brute 4x24 Porter Cable sander and I almost never use it anymore thanks to this gem of a sander. This little Makita is perfect for quick "oops" fixes, but can also take on larger jobs with ease. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't try to knock down a big hardwood floor for refinishing using this tool, but it would be perfect for the delicate work around the edges.
Unlike many other sanders, the dust collection bag on this one really does its job well. All in all a very well designed, well made tool which does the job it is made for brilliantly. BTW, I recently switched to the Norton 3X zirconium (blue) sanding belts and I will never go back to the conventional aluminum oxide (brown) type.
